Passport application documents



Adult Passport



Following are the documents required for passport :

  • Proof Of Present Address 
  • Proof Of Date Of Birth 
  • Documentary proof for any one of the Non-ECR categories

 

Residence Proof :


Following are the documents acceptable as proof of residence for passport 


  • Water Bill
  • Telephone (landline or post paid mobile bill)
  • Electricity bill
  • One year statement (with transactions)/ Passbook of running bank account (Public Sector Banks only)
  • Income Tax Assessment Order
  • Election Commission Photo ID card
  • Proof of Gas Connection
  • Certificate from Employer of reputed companies on letter head
  • Spouse's passport copy (First and last page including family details), (provided the applicant's present address matches the address mentioned in the spouses passport)
  • Applicant's current and valid ration card
  • Parent's passport copy, in case of minors(First and last page)
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Normal or Registered Rent Agreement (for a period of more than one year)


Date of Birth Proof :


Following are the documents acceptable as proof of date of birth :


  • Birth Certificate 
  • Transfer/School leaving/Matriculation Certificate 
  • Policy Bond issued by the Public Life Insurance Corporations
  • Copy of an extract of the service record of the applicant (only in respect of Government servants) or the Pay Pension Order (in respect of retired Government Servants), duly attested/certified by the officer/in-charge of the Administration of the concerned Ministry/Department of the applicant
  • Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar
  • Election Photo Identity Card (EPIC) issued by the Election Commission of India
  • PAN Card
  • Driving License 
  • A declaration given by the Head of the Orphanage/Child Care Home on their official letter head of the organization confirming the DOB of the applicant​


Passport for Minors


Passport for Minors is handled by our Company. Minor’s age is 1 Day to 18 Years. Minor Passport is issued only for 5 Years


Following are the documents required for minor passport :


  • Present Residence Proof 
  • Date of Birth Proof 
  • A declaration affirming the particulars furnished in the application about the minor as per Annexure D



Passport for Spouse

  • Residence Proof :  Any two of the above mentioned residence proof documents
  • Date of Birth Proof : Any one of the documents mentioned above​



Passport for Government Employee


  • Residence Proof :  Any two of the above mentioned residence proof documents
  • Date of Birth Proof : Any one of the documents mentioned above
  • Government/Public Sector/Statutory body employees should submit “Identity Certificate” in original 
  • Affidavit

Normal passport


Adult passport - Rs. 1500

Minor passport - Rs. 1000


Tatkal passport


Adult passport - Rs. 3500
Minor passport - Rs. 3000


Duplicate passport


Adult passport - Rs. 3000

Minor passport - Rs. 3000


The above passport fees is for 30 page passport . There is additional fees of Rs. 500 for 60 page passport.
