​My vehicle was on loan which I have already closed 3 years back . Bank had given NOC for loan closure which expired long back . Now I want to go for removal of Hypothecation from vehicle in the RTO. Do I need to take fresh NOC from the bank?

Ans: Yes, you will have to take fresh NOC from the bank , as it has been already expired. In some cases work can be managed to get the done with expired NOC . For information on it you may contact one of our representative.  


Bank has given me only one form 35 . Will that work ?


Ans : For hypothecation removal from RC , 2 nos. of form 35 is required . one form 35 will not work. Contact your bank for 1 more form 35.



I am moving my car from Hyderabad to Bangalore . I am applying for car NOC from Hyderabad . Is it mandatory to remove hypothecation ?


Ans : If vehicle is on hypothecation , its mandatory to take NOC from the bank first . This bank NOC in original needs to be submitted to the RTO . NOC from bank can be either in the form of HP termination letter if loan re-paid fully or loan continuation letter if loan is continuing .



My car is registered in Hyderabad RTO but currently I live in Delhi . Is it necessary for me to come over to Hyderabad for Hypothecation removal process ?


Ans : RTO in Hyderabad issues RC card with photograph of the registered owner . If there is photograph of you on the old RC card , no need to visit to RTO personally . If photograph of the registered owner is not there on the old RC card , its mandatory to visit RTO for HP deletion process.

  • Arrange form 35 and bank NOC from bank or the financier
  • Get the signature of the registered owner on the form 35
  • Book an appointment for RTO visit
  • Submit application for the hypothecation removal along with supporting documents to the RTO in Hyderabad where vehicle is registered
  • Deposit requisite government fees for HP deletion to the RTO office
  • Completion of process takes approx 15 days time
  • RC will be dispatched to the address of the registered owner by post    ​
